These assorted works are each designed to represent emotion. Emotions are quite interesting for me; they are always with us but we don’t really think about it. It is something we cannot have control over nor understand, even with well advanced human knowledge. Questions about emotion have long been asked, yet we haven’t answered. I think that is the reason why we are so overwhelmed by it. I wanted to express that moment when the emotion gnaws at me.
I didn’t bind them purposely because I didn’t want to sort them into the certain order, as it would be much inconsistent, also many of the works look better without the thread. (I used a lot of thick papers or canvas and acetate, so it is really hard and cannot be done in given time frame, with my binding skill)
Tempera, Gouache, Ink, Acrylic on canvas.
Sometimes people depend on a medication, or other things, to cast away the emotion. Reasons for it are all different. Each identical squares represent this aspect.
