For this assignment, I started by drawing from a live model in class. I drew her from the neck up, and since I was directly to the side of her, my portrait of her is in profile. This was the result after drawing in class:
I then used this sculpture that shows the planes of the head provided by Alaiyo:
to create my final project, which was done using a white chalk pencil, and 2 different shades of brown conte crayons, I ended up with my final result:
