Time Remix Project
For my project, I wanted to be able to show the two lives of two different people. At first I had no idea how I would but the video together because both people are so different and both doing completely different things. But I think I did a good job at contrasting the two lives and somehow connecting the two different lives together and having it sync throughout the video.
Instrument
This is the at home instrument that I created out of cardboard and rubber bands. I cut out squares to make a cube with an open top to make a “guitar” and because it was too plain with just the cardboard, I added a few cutouts to the squares so that it could have some sort of design. I then added 5 rubber bands to the cube and it made a lot of different sounds depending on how much I stretched the rubber band and where I pulled. In the pictures I include a top, bottom

Understanding Comics – Chapter 2 & 3
I liked how he talked about how we depend on or imagination and faith to build our own perspective on things. For an example when he said that his legs aren’t visible in the comic square yet we believe and imagine that they are still there. I learned about this in high school in AP Psych and how it’s such an unusual yet important concept. How we go from having no sense of anything as babies and grow to learn and sense different things in our everyday lives.
