Each of the images represents different periods in my life. The last one represents my earliest memory, the house in the image is my grandparents’ house since my parents were busy when I was a child they let my grandparents take care of me. The old Chinese calendar and radio symbolized the good old time I’ve spent with them and it is very valuable. The one I set as the background represents my childhood period. I am the middle child of the family so I had always got jealous of everything, I always wanted more love from my parents. So I did the painting and it took me a long time because I cried while I was painting. By entering the teenage period, I began to believe in the Buddhism, my mother used to give me the scripture that I could transcribe whenever I felt depressed and lost, by doing the transcribing I felt that I do not get jealous anymore, every problem or difficulty turned very insignificant and negligible. The futuristic one symbolized my future memory, I have always thought of what the future world would be. On this image, I created my own utopia and fantasy by using the photoshop, the physical features, and the dressing style is totally different and unique.
