Statement of Intent:
“Entering the New York City art scene, we are aware of the challenges it takes to successfully display artwork to a wide audience. We have learned of the limitations that corporate art groups inhibit on defining modern art to the public. As emerging artists, we communicate through “Untitled” how only a select few artists are able to display their work as a representation of modern art and intervene with the elitist culture that is created from this process. We also start a commentary about how wealthy organizations have come to control our perceptions of culture and abuse of their influence in media.”
