This is a project that i done for my Space Material Class, and it started on September, and  was finished on October 8.

 

first i made to shoes sole by wood. and i got inspirations from PRADA.

so i did 4 layers for the sole part.

then i bought some mental tube and cut them into pieces.  since i was not allowed to use any glue, so i decided to use wires as the connecter between each part.

the biggest challenge  for this project was connect the mental pieces with the sole together.

i had tried many way, but they weren’t failed because either the wood is too thin or the mental pieces were too unstable.

finally, i used wire again. and i actually made wires go through the mental and the sole. on the other word, i used wire to connect the whole shoes. but because the connector parts wasn’t supposed to be seen, so i put a plastic tube between the first and the second sole. and made the whole sole looks like this PRADA shoe. 

 

and then i put the real shoe tie into these small holes that i made by wire.
