In this world and from how we understand it, not a thing in this world does not “progress” in time. Even the rock sitting by the sidewalk. For it being there it is traveling in time, it is aging like an organism.
I took some pictures which I think represent time and put them together using InDesign.
- Window shutter blind: as the sun rises and sets, it let in the light from different angles.
- Person behind shower curtain: showering is a significant event of everyday life. In the morning it means a fresh start; at night it washes away the stress and burden of the day.
- Oculus Station: similar to the window shutter blind
- Trash: sometimes I look at an empty cup in the trash can and try to remember what it looked like when I first bought it – time is just every where.

- Money: there’s a saying, time is money and money is time
- Writing Diary: time flies. Every moment now will soon become memory. In order to remember them, we write our stories down.
- Traffic: when I take a picture of moving cars at night with long exposure, it looks like time traveling.
- Chinese New Year Art: Chinese New Year is one of the most important time of the year for me
- Rose on the Floor: it might have belonged to a bouquet, for some reasons it fell to the ground and it will soon wither and decay.
- Fake Plants: organisms will all die. So we created fake plants. But we won’t stop time
- Cutting Nails: you never realize how fast your nails grow.
- Green Wood Cemetery: I wonder if time still goes on for me after I die
- Flying Pigeons: time FLIES
