This is the documented first attempt of the wire armature sculpture we had to create. I made this with flexible wire (apparently too flexible for the actual sculpture), and had to redo it in steel wire.
James’ project was stunning overall, but what really got me what his final piece and his presentation. He effectively communicated the idea of cubic squares in his waffle-like final armature. Aside from the success in portraying his concept, the wire representation was exceedingly well done. Overall, his work was formidable.
