My goal in bridge project number 1 was to use my skills to create a cohesive body of work. Despite the tasks being different , my work meshes well together. All pieces are vibrant , detailed and show who I am as a person , as well as my style as an artist. Every piece required extensive brainstorming. I took my interests and things that mattered to me and put my aesthetic to it , and that is how I accomplished bridge project #1.

Erasure – MLK Jr. and Drake
Memory object – For my memory object I recreated the playground from my elementary school. I played with scale of elements of the jungle gym and included specific details from my childhood . This includes the time my friends and I carved our names into the styrofoam base of the the jungle gym. I incorporated all of our names on the base. This is significant because all of those people are still in my life. I exaggerated the bright colors of the park and the chalk drawings within the park. Elements from Pokemon were included because that was my favorite show and game growing up. I want the viewer to feel nostalgia and happiness. Originally I modeled this piece on CAD to 3-d print , however decided to make the model by hand to add authenticity and specific details in the piece.
