week 7 Journal

Living in an extremely organized environment that is completely equal in terms of spaces and street placement would be harmonious and boring. Theres no room for discovery, the chaos of life doesn’t happen and that is a bad thing, The chaos is what inspires innovation. The city would become extremely rigid. The architecture would change in order to fit in the confined space. The buildings would be very dull in terms of exterior. In a rigid society that is uniformly organized , interior designers would make more of an impact than architects. This is because the shell of a building has to remain constant to keep up with rules and regulations, but the inside is where all creativity can happen. While equality and harmonious living are both very imperative, the idea of everything being equal limit the diversity.
