Hi, my name is Jose. I am a student at Parsons New School in NYC. I am a Design & Technology major with a focus on video game development.
I recently had to choose between quitting my job and following my passion. I chose my passion: video games. Unfortunately, I did not have the flexibility to do both and so I took a risk and decided to pursue my education. This has caused a lot of personal and finacial conflict, but it was necessary to realize my dream. I used all of my savings and it has gotten me far, but not nearly far enough. I am still having difficulties paying my tuition, getting transportation funds and gaining the developing tools needed to continue creating in my field. I’m currently a 3.92 GPA student and I have used up all resources the school has to offer.
I need to raise money to pay for next semester and I’m asking for any kind of contribution. I’m a hard worker and I’m simply seeking opportunities to better myself so I could achieve my dreams. As an aspiring game developer, I want to reach a large audience and use my voice effectively though my creations to inspire the masses. I want to change the world through video games. I’m getting close, but I still need assistance. Please help in any way you can.
The money will be used to pay for my next semester tuition, money for transportation to school and a new laptop so I can continue developing games.
