MVP & Midterm Thoughts

This week, I’m compiling my current thoughts about the project from the “MVP” and the midterm presentation feedback which were good, where I could to see some user engage with the interactive experience and witness some excitement towards the project. As I view the players engaging with the experience I learned that I have to remove some additive stuff are not signaling the intention that I was trying to communicate to the user. I also gotten some good feedback about a hospital idea that could be included after the swing scene where one of the cubes get flung off a swing and gets hurt. I found this to be a great idea and I will begin developing this scene during spring break “Fingers Crossed”. I also saw that users were not understanding or enjoying the second scene where you had to put the robot together like a puzzle. I’m currently thinking about replacing this scene with something else and focusing on what’s working right now in the project which is all the humanistic interaction and environment. The experience is almost finished as in the length of the story where I need to finish the last two interaction that I believe I would have it done by April first. I want to have the whole month of April for focusing on polish and making the experience work how it suppose to. The next steps right now are to develop the “Hospital” scene and finish the scene where the human cube orders another object to replace the current main character and the last scene will be the main character finally realizing why it has been abandon in a junkyard.
