I got inspiration from the first reading written by Haruki Murakami in “Hardboiled Wonderland and the End of the World”. The reading was about how time can last permanently depending on one’s consciousness. I used this idea of permanence in time and created a gif.
The plants in the gif are dried flowers, which is like dead flowers. However, a person is watering dried flowers endlessly although there would be no change to the flowers. It relates to sad and bitter emotions because a person watering plant is hoping flowers to grow; like hoping impossible things to happen. For an improvement, I would use tripod to make it look more still.
