Six Plates: Life Drawing to Silhouettes

To begin, let take a look at this document:

Please begin a progress post entitled: Progress Six Plates.

It must contains the best 5 out of the 10 silhouettes created in illustrator.

Describe the process, reflect on how are the drawings were made and how you created the silhouettes.

• 5 Drawings from Life Drawing
  • Make sure to save at 1024 pixels.

• 5 Corresponding Silhouettes created in Illustrator
  • In Illustrator select: Save for WEB
  • Make sure to save at 1024 pixels.

• Use Tags

This is a view of one of my paintings, I chose this to create a demo piece for the class.

Next, please See below, in Illustrator I have created a Silhouette using the pen tool.

Also, I have used rich black for the stroke and fill color.

 

 

This one looks all jagged. At first, yours should too. Use fewer points, only placing them at the high point on the silhouette, then using the bezier curves to round out the form.
