For my final project for my studio class, I intend to create a fashion magazine, which contains my whole process and final results of my reconstructive garment project. The magazine will contain the presentation of my ideas and the process of reconstructing the second-handed garments. From the original second-handed garments with details; to experimenting with garments using pinning; to the final garments on mannequin; and lastly to the final garments on a model with a photo shoot.
The main colors used in my magazine will be white and dark purple/dark blue, which are the colors used in the reconstructed garment. The magazine will be full of graphic design elements, also including a corresponding front and back cover.
For the photo shoot of my final garment, I will shoot the garment on the model in front of a black or white wall, ideally being interior. The model is going to have her make up done, with pale faces and strong brows; no eye make up, and nude lips. I wanted the model to have her hair up in two buns, so that she seems rather playful, as my garment also contains playful and cartoony elements, such as the fortune cat on the front of the garment.
