“Human container”
I made a series of miniature human in transparent containers. Each in a unique environment that symbolizes individual existence. There are people in capsules; convolving by black threads; sitting on iceberg; and stranding in spider web and sand. My intention is to make a metaphor of how each of us living in a transparent container, which symbolizes our own unique life. I chose this as my hmm project because I’m really interested in things that are miniature and relate to human. Miniature items give me a chance to have a higher and wider perspective to look at something that I won’t be able to see in reality world. My favorite one among all in this collection is the capsules that contain a person in each one. I love it because of the contrast of reality, that human is being object-like. This collection catches my eyes because of the connections of various atmosphere in different containers.
