People always scared of saying their secret to others. However, after they covering parts of their body, they are dare to share their stories. Base on this issue, I made a helmet for the people who is afraid of talking to others, which can help them to provide them a chance to talk out loud to the society.

Below is the reiteration of my project 2 of my Space/materiality course. It has the same theme of the original one, but with the change of material. Unlike the previous one, I used laser cut to do most of my works. Also, I used acrylic board to be the part of the instrument, and try to use it to make different quality of sound.

My idea of secrecy is something that is from inner self which contains someone’s personalities. Secrets are the symbols for what people look like, which is representing a self.

The human-like hole presents people in this society. It means that people might look normal in their daily life, but have evil mind after reflection. The mirror inside this piece works as a monster-revealing mirror, which has the use of showing the true portrayal of what a people really like.

This project is to use woods to present sounds. I decided to make a percussion instrument to make the sound.

My idea is to make different key tones that can be played a minor key to present a sad feeling.
