For my montage project I wanted to focus on the progression of inner thoughts as you grow older. Most of the pictures I have collected for my montages are from scans I research from the picture collections at the New York Public Library. The story behind each montage is my experience growing up for the baby story, They only want what they see, like their toy or their bottle. For the child montage I have experience when I was a child of wanting toys and telling on other children, acting spoiled and having imagination. For the teen montage about how teenagers are trying to look perfect and starting to make themselves beautiful by putting makeup on. For the adult woman I was thinking about how hard raising a child would be and the hardships of daily chores and work. For the final montage I wanted to focus on an older woman in the process of dying and on prescriptions and going to check ups at the doctors.
