Reflection: Food Waste, Alarming Rise Will See 66 Tonnes Thrown Away Every Second

I was so shocked that we throw 66 tonnes of garbages away per second, and this problem keeps growing up. The article is worried about this problem. As the article mentioned, I also think that it is not an easy problem, and we have to think about this problem seriously. It is not one single country problem; it is all of the world problems, so we have to realize how dangerous it is and also find the solution together. To be honest, I am so ashamed of myself because I feel I also contributed to making this problem bigger. I go to a market every single week to buy some ingredients, but actually, I do not really cook, for I do not have enough time to prepare for my meal. So the ingredients are always gone, and I always throw the rotten ingredients away. This cycling happens every day, every week and every month. But I cannot say I will not buy food because I do not cook. Because  I feel anxiety when my refrigerator is empty; I know its sounds could be kind of wired and so selfish, but in my honest feeling, some food should be inside of the refrigerator for coping with the unexpected. However, this small person, I, have to change first for solving a problem. Therefore, what I make the solution for me is to buy only as much as I can eat for a day. I will not buy any food until finishing the meal that I bought for one day. It could be take-out food or something either fresh and convenience food. My problem is to buy over foods at once and throw all away and then repurchase much food, so I think that solution would work for saving the waste.
