In this project, I took apart a simple T-shirt and converted it into a sleeveless top that speaks for the size zero models. In recent years, many companies started to fire size zero models so build so called “healthy body image”. The original idea was to speak for the people who are not that skinny and are always being body shamed. However, this shouldn’t be based on the fact that they are making people who are born skinny into a worse situation.

Some mean people would say “OMG you’re so skinny that I can see your rib ”, so that’s why I started with the shape of bones in the sketch.

In the making process, I also intentionally added a high collar that’s really tight, symbolizing the idea that the pressure people brought to the skinny people are like chocking them and making them unable to survive easily.
