REFLECTION:
The project went well overall. The making process of the painting took longer than expected but we got together and used some intensive days making it. We managed to work well together. We had some challenges about how to transport the painting 20 minutes across town, but we succeeded by walking it. Besides that we unfortunately didn’t manage to get the canvas stretched properly. We then thought about taking the painting of the canvas of and letting it hang as a textile, since our painting is very texture based already. This can still be done, but we have decided to keep it as it is.

NEW PROTOTYPES:
We have decided to make our piece be much more of a remake. Therefore we have done some new prototypes that focus more on the motive in Klimt’s The Kiss. We have also decided to remain our idea or loving yourself, the ego, rather than a kiss to another person, we kiss our self. We are making the motive more clear and we are also going to remake the background and setting but with different materials to accommodate all of our interest and skills, whereas he only used oil on canvas.
