I liked the element of the thread and how to illustrate that. The close-up cuts both the thread and cylinder shaped tube over and thats when I started focusing on the fact that the only reason the thread creates the shape that it has is because of the way the cylinder shape is. Now focussing on shape and on how to manipulate thread into other shapes, than the cylinder, through jewellery. I’ve decided jewellery because I wanted to be able to scale things differently and thread seemed like a good material for the size of jewellery.

Deciding on colors, purple and yellow. Noticing the thread. Wanting to work with wire since shape can be manipulated and carried as a jewellery.

It’s not autonomous – it needs something else, to shape after.
It’s the value of the object.
Thread doesn’t have shape,
water takes the shape of the container.
Threads are the container,
it’s take the shape of the content.
