All though the New York art scene relocated to the Chelsea neighborhood all the way
back in the mid 90’s, it is in this particular moment in time that it has become the main
city center for contemporary art. Chelsea art district is the home of over 350 galleries,
institutions and independent art projects. For the past 20 years it has remained the designated
area for the true art connoisseurs.
