This was the last day when I was a freshman, I have a little excited about this amazing year. My major was designs and technology so I really wanted to learn something about software. this major was solving design problems by remixing software, hardware, art, and design creatively.

In the first year, drawing the model drawing based on the rhino was the challenge for me. In the begging, I try to find some guide video for learning this skill. Fortunately, my studio’s professor taught us about the rhino and 3D printing. When I plan to make my final of my digital craft class, I use rhino to draw the model drawing of desk and chair.

In this year, I really like the field trip of sustainable and system class. We visited “Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space” and four various styles of community gardens on a Friday morning, and overall this field trip was amazing. Those community gardens were unique and historical and but were discarded since long time ago. Over the years, many community members around this neighborhood had filled with the vibrant gardens with rubbles to create many fields. Also, they built a roof garden inside of the building and created more space. The innovation and invention of “rainwater collective filter system” and “greens fermentation machine” made the community more environment-friendly, as well as the community garden consistently provided fresh vegetables and organic fish and free-range chicken with low-income neighbors. It is no doubt that those community gardens could be considered as a type of sustainability in term of people could have activities inside of the garden and have the healthy daily diet.

In the future, I plan to learn the more technical skill during the class. moreover, I would love to add the more new technology in order to development my project.
