Reading and Writing 3

comments and moving forward of Project1

2 Things I learned from the critique:

  • I should reconsider the background.
  • I should try more materials to make them more interesting such as Arduino.

In this project, I think there are a couple of things can make it successful. The first, I believe it is vital to “who I am” the artist based on the information we know about the artist. That means when you look at the project, you can remind the artist, but the initial thing is you see this artist. Also, I think the project should be someway exciting or creative so that people would like to see it. My standard is to make it delicate and be creative. My goal is to try to learn from the artist I chose and try to use her way to make things that can memorize her. Also, I think it is imperative to learn something from the artist, which could be the color, composition or even thoughts, rather than try to finish the homework. More and more, I think I will keep changing it until I feel it looks good. Also, I pushed myself the little bit, and I want to know what I can also do based on this project.

I learned a lot when I was doing this, and I am having fun with it. That’s a valuable experience for me.

WRITE 3 THINGS YOU WOULD LIKE TO ASK ALICE SHEPPARD

How important do you think the visibility of disabled performers is in that regard?

Do you think opportunities for disabled artists have improved since you began dancing?

Did dance feel natural to you or was it out of the blue?
