Object Redux

While walking through Galleries Lafayette, I was offered perfume samples all the way through the first floor. What I became particularly interested in was the shape that these samples had, all of them pretty much the same, almost scientific.

Immediately after being given this object I thought about the shape being. like a syringe, an object used in medical environments and surroundings. I then immediately thought of the trace perfume leaves, the same trace we leave with our DNA when we have blood drawn out. This is the direction I think I want to pursue in this project. The idea of leaving traces but hereditary and unique elements in our body and DNA.
Also, I decided to start making molds of noses. DNA is unique to us the same way noses are unique to us yet they are on of the most hereditary thing we have in our body. Same as the ears. DNA is handed down to us yet it is unique.
