I made a video of river that expressed life itself in abstract way. I was inspired by nature itself.
When I thought about “time”, I immediately thought about “change.” Everything changes on time. The history changes in time, the environment changes in time. I expressed the definition of “change” as water flow.
The natural river has a flow like life. While most of water goes one direction like many people are born, take education until high school, Some water gets away from the flow and become individual as some people don’t follow the direction that other people take.
After people graduate high school, people have to decide what they want to do independently. Some people keep educating themselves by going to college, and some people choose to work in professions. However, we can’t forget that we still interrupt each other in one, human society. Nobody goes completely individual since human only lives in the planet of earth.
I tended to express how people have to challenge in their life in this last picture of the video. Everybody has struggle and pleasure in their life, but in different form.
The difficulty of this project was to take the video, and express the life. I took those video in Bois de Vincennes, right outside of Paris. I took multiple videos by Iphone, and choose the right one that I was convinced to be able to express the life. This was my first time editing video, and I learned beauty of one perspective.
