Rock Paper Recycle is a company to produce small objects out of recycle paper.
The material is hard as rock, and light as paper.
Client can order any design as long as the design is not too complicated, but we mainly make shiny paperweight.
Our policy follows with environmentally friendly product with organic, handmade, minimalistic shape.
We have a designer to paint the products. Customers can order specific design with extra costs.
The price of a product will be 5 euro, and if you get 2 products, you will get a small chopstick holder.
The project is a proposal of idea that it is even more environmentally friendly if one uses the used material to do something else. If one put the materials to recycle, it will cost energy anyway.
Process:
First, we put paper into warm water and mix it until paper falls apart. After, we put flour and mix it until it becomes completely paste.
Then we took off the water, and made shape circular shape.
Then we put them into 160 degree oven for about 2 hours.(sorry for the picture of microwave, we couldn’t take picture with oven.)
Once the paper becomes hard, we painted it.
Then we put nail polish to make the texture shiny.
